Alarmed by the cries of distress coming from the hatch, the nurses rescued a stray kitten stuck there. The animal was not only rescued; he also found a loving family.
Nurses rescued a kitten stuck under a manhole cover, News-Press Now reported on Tuesday (May 31).

This rescue took place at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, a hospital located in Trenton, New Jersey.

Trauma nurse Heather Hendrickson and her colleagues had just finished their night shift and were making way for a day shift. They were about to leave the hospital and were walking past the ambulance park when they heard a meow. They were quickly able to determine its origin; it was a kitten stuck in the hatch, emitting them, desperately calling for help.

The nurses wasted no time rolling up their sleeves to help the little cat in the red dress. Very quickly they received help from paramedics, technicians and hospital security staff. Thus, 15 people mobilized to save the kitten.

This was not the only good news for the kitten, he was adopted by one of the nurses. Heather Hendrickson explains that the latter was recently scammed by a breeder when she was looking for a cat.
So the one who was rescued in the hospital was timely. She named it Trent, referring to the city of Trenton.

Marina sighed, glanced at Mykola, who said, “Seems like I used to be against it. Take it now. Go to the kitchen. Feed your kitten. I don’t know how you used to feed all the kittens in the yard, but now you’re responsible for this.”

Mykola watched as his wife carried the kitten to the kitchen, with their happy daughter following. As he closed the front door, he thought, “I’m lucky with my family.”

‘When she was three weeks old, I gave her a toy sheep, and she became hopelessly obsessed with it. I usually slept with him in my arms’ says Ashlyn. The kitty was lucky she met such a caring person to help her get through everything.
