Bubby – one cat with a difficult fate – life has developed in a very sad way. Once upon a time, a Canadian named Boyd picked up Bubby practically in his yard. The animal had three legs and no end of the tail. Boyd felt sorry for the poor thing, so he let him into his house. So they became friends. They had a great relationship, Boyd loved his pet very much, and it was mutual.

One day, Bubby disappeared. During the search, Boyd died: he was already quite an old man. People who lived in the neighborhood tried to find Bubby, but nothing came of them. They concluded that the cat would never return.

For eight years no one heard from Bubby. But suddenly the cat came to his old house. He had no idea that Boyd was no longer alive. The neighbors tried to attract the cat to them, but he did not react to them in any way. In his old house, tenants have long been replaced.

Neighbors told them what was going on. Those people opened the door for Bubby when he came in, and the cat just walked in. So they managed to catch him. Bubby was examined by a veterinarian, prescribing the necessary medicines and procedures, after which the cat was sent to the cattery. He did not stay there for a long time: a compassionate employee took pity on him and sheltered him.

Hoshiko was born in 2014. His nickname in Japanese means “star child”. And he really is a star. As a child, Hosiko was such a cute and funny kitten that his owners posted photos of the baby on Instagram. Every day more and more people joined his fan club. Today, almost everyone in the world knows about Hosiko and is delighted with his photo. Everyone loves a golden fluffy kitten.

The cat only plays with new toys that get bored after a week. Laces, tree branches, paper balls, tennis balls, and the like are used as toys.

A fluffy pet is frightened by unknown people and places. If some thing is rearranged or shifted, then the cat is amazed: he cannot understand where the new thing came from and where the old thing went. If this object is not in the usual place for Hosiko, then it is dangerous.

Three stray little cats were delivered to the animal refuge in California this winter. The kids were shy, antisocial, they sibilated and hid in the corners. “These are small children who wanted that someone take care of them,” says volunteer Jamie.

The kittens were about six weeks old. They were given the names Wasabi, Ginger and Pepper. The most “daring” of them was the boy Wasabi. “He immediately took on the role of protector,” the shelter says. So, from the first days they began to stick together.

To socialize the cubs, volunteers communicated with them every day, stroked them, and rewarded them with treats for their friendliness. After a few days, Wasabi stopped throwing himself at the hands of volunteers and biting them.
Step by step, the kittens learned to trust people. They became calmer, the fear in their eyes almost disappeared. It wasn’t until two weeks later that they finally began to purr when someone petted them.

“There was a time when it seemed to me that Wasabi would never stop hissing at me,” shares Jamie, “I am proud of him. He overcame his fears. Now it is a sociable and warmhearted cat.
Now all the cats are ready for a different life. Wasabi and Ginger will go to the same family, and Pepper has other owners.

One autumn, a married couple found a tiny kitten in the grass, which did not have front paws. People could not leave the blind newborn animal and took him to the veterinarian.
“We believe that Mercury fell under the lawnmower because not long before we found him, the grass was being cut in this area. We showed the wounded kitten to the veterinarian, and, after treating the wounds, took him home. We have spent much time taking care of this little creature but finally, we achieved some results”.

According to the owners of Μercury, the cheerful pet never ceased to amaze them, so they abandoned the decision to give it up “for adoption” and accepted it as a member. Over the past few months, the kitten has significantly improved its skills thanks to the help of loving owners.

However, the owners of a disabled animal are not going to stop there and plan to give him a device that will be created by the type of a wheelchair. True, with the fulfillment of this desire, they will have to wait, since the installation of the prosthesis is possible only after the Mercury stops growing.

“We will continue to help him develop and wait for the moment when he can move around with the help of a wheelchair,” said the owners of an unusual pet. “Although even the absence of a prosthesis does not prevent him from living like other animals: he jumps, plays with other cats and dogs, sleeps on the bed, and considers himself the owner of the house, the coot.”

According to veterinarians, the kitten was only 8-10 weeks old. “Ginger was shy and wary of people,” the shelter says. “But when he realized that we were bringing him food, he began to actively make contact and communicate with us.”

Day after day, Ginger was on the mend and became bolder. Once he even escaped from the aviary and wandered into the isolation for dogs. There he met Ann. She was found in a serious condition in the bushes on the street and taken to a shelter. The kitten seemed to understand that the dog needed a friend more than ever.

Ginger climbed into Anne’s cage and lay down beside her. The rules of the shelter forbade keeping cats and dogs together, so the kitten was immediately taken back to the enclosure. “There was his tray, food and water,” volunteers say. “But he immediately got out of the cage and returned to his girlfriend.” As a result, the animals decided not to separate.

Now Ann and Ginger share one enclosure for two, and they really like it. The dog gives the kitten a sense of calm and security, and in return, he cares for her and entertains her!

In March, Little Wanderers rescue service in New York (USA) received a call about a cat abandoned in a parking lot in the Bronx. “The cat was so cute and so dirty,” eyewitnesses said. “He would approach strangers, meow, and actually ask for help.”

Animal rights activists quickly arrived at the scene and found the animal. According to them, the cat was limping on its front paw, but still followed people and meowed loudly, demanding attention.
