A man walking amid the packed animals discovered a little cat, terrified and crushed into the snow. He couldn’t stand on his paws because it was so chilly, and he had to carry the animal beneath his jacket for several hours.

He kept joking about how the kitten scratched him so viciously like a wild animal.

What a surprise it was for his buddies when the veterinarian informed him they had discovered a a very uncommon animal.

The kitten turned out to be a n endangered species. According to specialists, there are only 300 of this subspecies left in the wild.

These cats are on the verge of extinction.

He was taken aback by the discovery. It seemed impossible to return a rare cat to the wild. Leaving it at home would be insane.

The veterinarian was startled to find that the man had managed to retain the animal. Wild cats, after all, have a highly fierce disposition and cannot be domesticated.

He wanted to help his such cats so he started a charity fundraising dedicated to rescuing wild cats.

Several hundred people replied to their request, and the men have now collected about 7,000 pounds.

Once on a very chilled winter day, a stray kitty appeared under the door of a fire service and asked for some help.

The fire station was in Canada, and one of the visitors was astonished when he saw a helpless kitty stare its eyes on him. As the attendant said, it was a freezy night and the cat was stoned near the window.

When one of the workers opened the door, the kitty ran and touched his legs.

The employee brought her in, realizing that if they let her stay outdoors, she would be breezed out.

So the first step was to warm her, then it became visible that she was dirty and needed something to eat.

The fire chief who had several cute kitties in his charge agreed to take her with him and keep until they would found a new home for her.

He named the cat Amber and the following day brought her to the vet. The doctor conclude that she all right, only the top of her ears were mildly frostbite.

The fire chief, Kelvin, told that he posted the photo of the kitten on social media to find her owners, but there was no reply.

The workers thought that it would be good if Amber stay in the fire station and became a station cat, but there were some days that no one would stay in the department. So the kitten would be hungry and no one would take care of her.

So, luckily, after some time, Kelvin again posted her photos on Facebook and this time found a permanent owner for her.

Ordinary cats do not have many chances to find a loving family. They cannot compete with beautiful, thoroughbred animals. If external “features” are added to that, the chances are completely reduced to zero.

Phil the cat lived in an animal shelter for many years. Nobody wanted to take such a cat home, his brothers and sisters found a new home long ago, and Phil continued to live in a shelter.

The kittens were getting weaker and needed help! Then the volunteers took them away but left surveillance cameras in the forest in case the parent showed up later.

Unfortunately, the forest cameras did not show any traces of an adult Scottish cat.

Then two kittens were placed in a natural reserve specially created for them, where they can grow up in natural conditions and become real wild cats. After all, these babies make up 6% of the entire population.

Now these kids are safe – as soon as they grow up, they will be released into the forest, into the wild. Rescuers of kittens decided that it would be much better than life in the zoo – from where they never come back …
