In 2015, this cat vanished. For several weeks, the owners looked for her in the area, but to no effect. After 6 years, the cat was fortunately discovered. She had traveled almost 1400 kilometres during this time.
The cat was a resident of her owners’ home. The cat was acquired by a woman when she was a kitten in 2014. In 2015, the cat got away from home.
She was taken aback when she received a call from a veterinarian more than 6 years later. He claimed to have found her pet. She had no idea what they were talking about because she had not lost any cats.
She didn’t recognize it was her long-lost cat until the doctor described the cat’s striped coat. The microchip aided in the discovery of the cat. The veterinarian discovered that the cat had been adopted from a shelter.
It proved to be a difficult effort to transport the animals from one state to another. To do so, she organized a joint fundraiser — a large cost from the clinic had to be paid, as well as bringing a cat.
That was not the woman’s financial situation. She even felt it would be easier to locate the cat at a new home at first. She soon understood, however, that she needed to return her sweetheart.
