An old cat that was satisfied to spend the day napping alone was rescued by Jana. That is, until he came across this kitten.
Philip had previously been lost outside of an apartment building that had been closed down for more than a year when Jana found him.
Fortunately for Jana, Philip was friendly. He was simply transported to their rescue base.
Philip was treated right away, and he was able to fully recover. At that point, they realized Philip was older than he appeared to be.
They observed that Philip genuinely desired quiet and had little interest in interacting with the other rescued cats.
Jana acknowledged that Philip seemed to really want to be by himself.
However, a playful cat soon entered their lives, upsetting Philip’s existence. And then the most incredible event occurred! Ruby was intrigued by Philip.
At first, Philip felt uneasy but Ruby persisted, nevertheless. Philip eventually gave in and began playing with Ruby, seemingly deciding what this small kitty would do next.
This is proof that we all need friends and we will be sad without them.
